Band Profiles

A traditional North London Indie/Alternative 4-piece band. Bringing a mixture of influences from melody driven, indie icons from the likes of Pulp and The Smiths to Girls and Ariel Pink. Prep yourself for a set basking in energetic guitar melodies with an upbeat rhythm.

As the sons of Kid Creole & The Coconuts frontman, August Darnell, the boys ofPicture Book were born with music running through their veins. Born in New York and raised in Manchester, brothers Dario Darnell and Lorne Ashley started making music while studying in Liverpool, before catching the eye of industry big shots with their imaginative remixes. Their remix of Calvin Harris’ Flashback is credited with landing them a slot at the massive Olympic concert in Hyde Park this summer, which saw them sharing the stage with Dizzee RascalKaty B and The Wanted.
