Everybody knows the name Tupac Shakur - mostly known as 2Pac. The rapper, poet, activist and actor who changed the genre of Hip-Hop with his rhymes and compelling story telling, tragically died at the age of 25 leaving fans confused about his pre-mature and still unclear death.

All Eyez On Me, the official biopic, covers all the untold aspects of the rapper’s life, portrayed by actor Demetrius Shipp, from his early beginnings in New York to working with Death Row Records and his ultimate death in Las Vegas. All Eyez On Me the Blu-Ray edition is a must for every Tupac fan as it features the making-of, as well as exclusive conversations about the artist’s life in general.

In order to celebrate the DVD release of All Eyez On Me, the dance company Seen On Screen Fitness set up a special urban dance class. Seen On Screen Fitness run dance classes along to music from artists such as Lauryn Hill and Kendrick Lamar.

Taking part at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art studios, our group gathered together with high anticipation, curious to find out what exactly would await us. When we finally were led to the dance studio, we met our talented instructor Elliott, who has danced for the likes of Rihanna or Sade. True to the theme, we were given props such as ’Thug Life’ imprinted hats, golden chains or red and blue bandanas, the fun of dressing up was almost as much as the dance class itself. Once dressed to look the part the class started and after a little warm-up we were ready to go.
Alongside 2Pac’s classic hit California Love, Elliott took us through a number of choreographed dance moves that left every one of us was sweating heavily and exhausted. Nevertheless, everyone picked up the steps rather quick so when the class unfortunately came to an end, we were all performing the choreography with flow and ease. Definitely a dance class to remember.

It is available on Digital outlets now and available on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 30th.
